RACHELLE CONROY – CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Shelle has been training students in the performing arts for over 30 years. As Creative Director of ‘Conroy Dance Centre’ she has guided the development and careers of performance students with many pursuing professional careers in the performing arts industry throughout Australia and internationally. Former students are performing throughout the world in Musical Theatre, commercial dance, movies, theme parks and cruise ships.

Shelle’s choreography for children’s television in Australia has included ‘New MacDonald’s Farm’, ‘Toybox’ and ‘Pipsqueaks’ for Beyond International and the 7 Network. As creator and choreographer of the Comdance (CSTD) Modern Jazz Syllabus, her work has been instrumental in the training of thousands of students throughout the world who are currently taught and examined in this syllabus.

Shelle is an experienced & in-demand creative team member for large scale international ceremonies and events.

Marcus was a professional performer for over 15 years, working throughout Australia, Asia, and the United States. Marcus is a qualified examiner with Comdance and works in this capacity locally, interstate, and Internationally. Marcus also holds his CERT IV in Dance Teaching and Management.

With over 20 years experience as a student mentor, Marcus has supported and developed students across multiple artistic fields. His passion for nurturing and guiding students has led to successful outcomes for hundreds of young performers.

Marcus has extensive knowledge in dance syllabi and teacher training. Under his guidance, countless student teachers have attained teaching qualifications. Marcus delivers comprehensive teacher training alongside Summer Till – our Certificate and Diploma trainer and assessor.

SUMMER TILL - TRAINER & ASSESSOR/ STUDENT LIASON
BALLET & PBT INSTRUCTOR

With 15 years working in the dance Vocational Education Sector, Summer  has honed her expertise in the the delivery of accredited qualifications as well as the associated compliance obligations needed in order to partner with a prominent dance RTO.

As a highly skilled educator, Summer is deeply passionate about sharing her knowledge and skills with others. She thrives on the opportunity to mentor aspiring dancers, guiding them on their own journeys in the world of dance.

Summer accompanies the delivery of the courses with not only welcoming the students each day to the College, ensuring communication between students, events through the CPAC year and communication with the parents/guardians is smooth, informative and accurate, but also teaching and refining students in Classical Ballet an the PBT conditioning technique.

GRACE SINCLAIR - EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
JAZZ TECHNIQUE

Grace trained at Conroy Dance Centre in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Musical Theatre and Contemporary/ Lyrical. She has undertaken many Comdance (C.S.T.D) exams and has fulfilled her Teaching qualifications in Jazz and Tap.

Grace enjoyed a professional performing career in Paris and Tokyo, performing at Disneyland for several years.

Grace was apart of the inaugural cast for the brand new stage show at Tokyo Disneyland as a dancer. She has also performed with Bindi Irwin at Australia Zoo, and was cast in the Brisbane Season of ‘Annie’ the Musical that was performed at QPAC.

Grace works extensively at the Conroy Dance Centre as the executive assistant to the Director in departments including coordination, accounts, teaching, rehearsing and producing.
